Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule:Cardinal Point’s regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some evening and/or weekend hours may occasionally be required to support programming, including Monday evening group activities, community events, or other organizational needs.
Compensation:Competitive rate based on education, relevant experience, certifications, and program qualifications.
Benefits: Full-time benefits package available.

Cardinal Point Public Trust is seeking a compassionate, resourceful, and collaborative Navigator to join our team at Canadian County’s Family Justice Center.

At Cardinal Point, we believe survivors should not have to navigate complex systems alone. Our Navigators serve as a first point of caring contact for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, elder abuse, and child abuse, helping create a welcoming path toward safety, healing, and hope.

Working alongside survivors, the Navigator provides centralized intake and navigation, crisis support, information, problem solving, and connections to Cardinal Point’s on-site and community partners. Navigators help individuals identify their own needs and priorities, understand the options available to them, and access the services and resources they choose.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcome individuals and families to Cardinal Point with compassion, professionalism, and respect.
• Provide crisis support by phone and in person as needed.
• Complete centralized intake and work alongside survivors to explore needs, priorities, and available resources.
• Help survivors navigate services available through Cardinal Point’s on-site partners and connect with off-site community resources when appropriate.
• Provide clear information about available services, client rights, confidentiality, Victims’ Rights, and the Victims Compensation Program.
• Help identify and reduce barriers that may make accessing services more difficult.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with Cardinal Point’s multidisciplinary partners.
• Document services and client navigation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Help maintain welcoming, safe, and trauma-informed client spaces.
• Support Cardinal Point’s commitment to coordinated, survivor-centered services.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, flexible, dependable, and comfortable working alongside people experiencing crisis or trauma. The ideal candidate understands survivor-centered services, values collaboration, and can build trusted professional relationships while navigating complex situations with sound judgment and professionalism.

Qualifications include:

• A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Crime Victim Survivor Services, or a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of one year of professional experience in domestic violence, sexual assault, victim services, advocacy, crisis intervention, case management, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous professional experience working within a Family Justice Center and/or an OAG-certified or tribal domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking victim services program is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of community resources that support individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, elder abuse, and child abuse.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships with multidisciplinary partners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to creatively problem-solve, adapt to changing circumstances, and remain professional in stressful situations.
• Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries, confidentiality, and sound judgment when working with survivors and community partners.
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Ability to successfully pass and maintain the required background check.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Interested in Becoming a Volunteer Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE)?

Cardinal Point is also building a network of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) to support the development of local forensic exam services in Canadian County.

SANEs are compensated per exam and play a critical role in providing trauma-informed care to survivors. Nurses interested in this work will need to complete specialized SANE training.
